March 4 (ChainDD) As the AIGC heat wave continues, the tech industry's collective enthusiasm for the metaverse has waned.

Recently, Chinese and overseas technology enterprises such as Bytedance, Tencent and Meta have adjusted the metaverse business by changing the business development path or reducing the personnel allocation.

One industry insider thinks that technology development is divided into fast and slow, "in the short term, the metaverse becomes a slow technology, return to rational development. But in the long run, the iteration of technologies like AI and VR hardware will further promote the development of the metaverse."
