Abstract : He believes that the most pressing issue for Ethereum as a whole is to achieve a higher level of scalability.
September 5 (ChainDD) Vitalk Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, said during the Korean Blockchain Week, "in the long term, we have plans to maintain fully verified Ethereum nodes that you can run on your phone."
Vitalik highlightes six key points that must be addressed to solve the Ethereum network's centralization problem saying that full nodes are an important part of Ethereum's pursuit of a higher degree of decentralization.
He also mentioned Ethereum's roadmap, which includes a "stateless client" using a "Verkle tree."
Vitalik said that node centralization was one of the main challenges facing Ethereum, which should be solved by reducing and simplifying the operating costs of nodes, but the perfect solution may have to wait for another 10 or even 20 years.
He believes that the most pressing issue for Ethereum as a whole is to achieve a higher level of scalability.
