September 6 (ChainDD) The Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has led the drafting of the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Innovation and Development of the Metaverse Industry in Shandong Province", which is now open to the public for comments.

The public comment period is from September 4 to September 8, 2023.

The guideline pointed out that by 2025, the scale of the metaverse related industries will grow by about 15% annually to reach about 150 billion yuan, and key enterprises will apply for more than 3,000 international and domestic patents.

At the same time, the province will introduce and cultivate more than 100 metaverse ecological chain characteristic advantage enterprises, support the construction of more than 30 metaverse public application experience centers, and create 100 metaverse characteristic application scenarios.
